If the low-voltage site is not equipped with a lightning arrester, when the high-voltage side arrester discharges a large lightning current to the ground, the liquid-cooled transformer will produce a voltage drop at the ground position. This voltage will also act on the low-voltage while passing through the liquid-cooled transformer housing. The neutral point of the sidewinding and the low-voltage side winding is grounded through the wave impedance of the low-voltage line. The following measures can be taken to find out the poor grounding related to the arrester, and reconnect as required. Note First, connect the ground wire of the liquid-cooled transformer's arrester directly with the liquid-cooled transformer's shell and the low-voltage side neutral point, and then share the grounding device.
